Angela E. Lindsey, 86, of Westville, New Jersey, passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Legacy A loving, kind and gentle woman, Angela had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off her back if she thought it would help them; it was just her nature. Angela loved to go shopping at the thrift stores to find the best deals and was a dog lover. But most importantly, was the time she spent with her family making treasured memories. Born in Havana, Cuba, Angela came to the United States in her teenage years and lived the American Dream. She earned a Masters Degree in Education and was a devoted bilingual teacher for fifth and sixth graders in the Philadelphia Public School System for over 40 years and retired in 1997.. Angela was dedicated to her students, thought of them as her own children and nothing pleased her more than spreading her passion for education; Family Loving Mother of Charles W. Lindsey and the late Dania Pooley; Devoted life partner of the late Charles Carney; cherished grandmother of Charles W. Jr. (Dana), Angela (Robert), Nicholas (Carmen), Jason (Deanna), Brandy and her late husband Wesley. Angela is also survived by her siblings, Betty (John) Effinger, Billy Erdwein and many loving great grandchildren..
