Angela †œAngie†� Morgan, 52 December 25, 1967 - April 24, 2020 Arvada, Colorado Angela Jo Pennell was born on Christmas 1967 to Marcile and John †œJack†� Pennell in Convoy Ohio. She was the youngest of 6 siblings. Most of the family moved to Clear Creek County Colorado in 1972 when Angela was 4. She attended elementary through high school, graduating from Clear Creek High School in 1986 then began working. Angela was working in Georgetown in 1989 when she met her future husband, Phil. Angie and Phil were married on May 5, 1992 then she had her son, and love of her life, Alex, on November 8, 1999. Angela worked in retail and child care, owning and running her own businesses for many years. Angela was a dedicated mother, wife, and friend. She was known for her enthusiasm and vigor for whatever she was involved in at the time which included caring for her family, work, pets, the children she cared for, game nights with friends, family vacations, girls lunches and nites out, family get togethers, scrapbooking, garage sales, and whatever Alex was into at the time. She was known for being enthusiastic, upbeat, organized, and positive with almost everything. Angela was diagnosed with cancer in late 2018, completing rigorous treatment and getting a clean bill of health months later, then regularly talked about her new normal. She, Alex, and Phil were planning on moving to North Carolina in an upcoming semi-retirement and she was actively researching real estate and all things related. Angela is survived by her son Alex and husband Phil, her mother Marcile Pennell (Ada , OH), her sisters Linda Ream (Ada,OH), Brenda Schrecengost (Columbus, IN), and Debra Hayson (Alexandria LA), her brothers Terry Pennell (Lakewood, CO) and Scott Pennell (Idaho Springs, CO), all of their families, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and endless friends from all walks of life. She was preceded in death by her father, †œJack†œ Pennell and brother David Pennell who died as an infant. Angie was a treasured mother, wife, and friend. She will be missed greatly. Services for Angela will be delayed until restrictions from COVID-19 Pandemic have eased and people can get together to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RayOfHopeColorado.com who are associated with the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center that took such good care of Angela during her cancer treatments.
