Angela Ann Vasquez

June 8th, 1962 - March 24th, 2024

Angela Ann Vasquez, mother to George, Vincent, and Julian Angel, and wife of Julian Vasquez, passed away on Sunday, March 24th, 2024 after battling a respiratory illness. She was born June 8, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona. Angie was raised in Phoenix, AZ and relocated with her husband to Colorado in 1997.

 

She graduated from Tolleson High School in 1980. Angie worked as a teacher’s aide until she retired to take care of her boys.  Her love for her family and friends was like no other.  She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Known for her beautiful personality and passion for serving children with special needs, Angie's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.

 

She is survived by her loving husband and three sons. She is also survived by her parents Sylvia and Jimmy Arce, brothers Jimmy (Carmen) and Anthony "Tony" (Greg) and sister Sylvia "Mari" (Oscar) and her beloved pet chihuahua Hershee. A private ceremony will be held in Colorado at Aspen Mortuary - Lakewood on April 5th, 2024 at 10 am. On Saturday, April 6th, a celebration of life will be held at the family's home in Colorado. On Saturday, April 13th, another celebration of life will be held in Phoenix, Arizona.
