Angelo M. Deacetis
April 24th, 1940 - May 21st, 2021
Angelo ""Andy"" M. Deacetis, 81, of North Port, Florida, passed away on May 21, 2021. He was born on April 24, 1940 in Watertown, Massachusetts to his parents, Louis and Mary Deacetis. Upon completion of engineering courses at Northeastern University, Andy started his career with Honeywell Bull at the beginning of the main frame computer era. He later worked for Westvaco Paper as their Transportation Manager. After that facility closed he became an Automotive Aftermarket Manager. While well immersed in complex employment ventures, Andy also owned his own business, dealing with small RVs and Trucks. He completed his employment career as a Regional Procurement Manager for Moore Forms, a job he was extremely proud of. He enjoyed an early retirement and encouraged others to do the same and “enjoy life”. Andy loved the challenge and camaraderie of the game of golf. He was also very interested in aviation, he held private, instrument and commercial pilot licenses for small aircraft. His love for music was cultivated at an early age and played the accordion professionally for clubs and events. Around the home and automobiles, he would fix almost everything. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Deacetis and sister, Anne Printz. Angelo is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Deborah Marcoux Deacetis; sister, MaryLou (Gerard) McLaughlin of Marshfield, Massachusetts. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
