Angelo Montanaro "Monty" A quiet hero to many with an unbreakable spirit, Angelo Montanaro "Monty" passed away October 15, 2014. He was 57 years young. To live in hearts left behind is not to die for the void we are feeling is filled with beautiful memories. It is not how he died, but how he lived…born in St. Petersburg, FL, Angelo enjoyed a life well-lived and left a legacy of joy and laughter to the many lives he touched. The special people in his life that he cherished dearly are his brother Anthony Montanaro, his life partner of 23 years Allen Vallario, and the many friends and families whose lives were better just knowing Angelo. A successful entrepreneur and owner of Green Tree Gardens, Angelo was most happy working seven days a week. He was passionate, creative, with a fierce determination that combined hard work with an indefatigable drive toward excellence. What may have appeared to some as a rough and tough exterior, inside Angelo had a sensitive heart and was always the first to help someone in need. He loved to say, "we don't have time for a pity party…it's time to pull yourself up by your boot straps." Angelo Montanaro's life is a loving, lasting memory our grateful hearts will always treasure. A smile that would light up a room, Angelo brought a light so great to this world that even though he is gone, the light remains. Please join us for a celebration of Angelo's life on Thursday, October 23rd from 6pm to 8pm with a short service at 7pm.
