Angelo P. Morreale, 47, passed away Monday April 30, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam, after being stricken at home. Born in Amsterdam on August 11, 1959, he was the son of James and Phyllis Chelini Morreale. Angelo was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, he loved being ?Poppy? to his grandson Travis. Survivors include his daughter Melissa Morreale, his son Jacob Robert Angelo Morreale and his grandson Travis Michael Burchell, all of Broadalbin; six sisters, Nancy Weiss and her husband Vernon of Broadalbin, Connie Litfin and her husband Robert of Carrollton, TX, Antoinette Hallenbeck and her husband Fred of Vail Mills, Phyllis Kluska and her husband David of Perth, Jean DeGroff of Broadalbin and MaryAnn Banewicz and her husband Ben of Glens Fork, KY; two brothers, James Morreale and his wife Eve of Bowdoinham, ME and Mark Morreale and his wife Kylene of Broadalbin; several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Michael James Morreale and his parents. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 4 to 7 PM at the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home in Broadalbin. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:30 AM from the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, with Chaplin Jack Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadalbin Mayfield Rural Cemetery in Broadalbin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for the education of his grandchildren.
