QUIGLEY - Anita E., 85, of Venice, formerly of Gulfport, passed away Friday, May 19, 2006 in Venice. She came to Florida in 1977 from her native Rumford, Maine where she was a bookkeeper at Norway Laundry for fifteen years. She attended Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport and was an avid scrabble and crossword puzzle player. She enjoyed watching sports and bowling. Survivors include her son Timothy and her caregiver, Pat Quigley, both of Englewood; one brother, Benjamin Bernard of Yoma Linda, California, and two sisters, Jeanette Heath and Claire Farwell, both of Rumford, Maine. Mrs. Quigley was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Quigley, June 1, 2001. A memorial service will be 10AM Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport, with burial to folow at Bay Pines National Cemetery. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, "Please say a prayer for St. Jude." Service Information
