Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Frankfort - Ann Woolums Bramer, 97, widow of Charles H. Bramer, went to be with her lord on Monday February 2, 2015. She was born in Franklin County on May 21, 1917 to the late John Irvine and Bessie Haydon Woolums. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She was a member of Thornhill Baptist Church and retired from the state government, among many other professions. She is survived by her son, Charles I. (Rose) Bramer; a daughter, Betty Sayle; her sister, Louise Simpson; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchicldren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Purvis; brothers, Elmer and Charles Woolums; and her sisters, Georgia McIntyre; Juanita McIntyre; Sally Woolums; and Dorothy Buntain. Casketbearers will be Charles I. Bramer Jr., Charles C. Bramer, Michael S. Bramer, David Purvis, Benjamin Lowery, Cameron Purvis, and Conner Purvis. Honorary Casketbearers are Linda W. Ethington and Bobbie Jo Stacy. Funeral Information Services will be held 1:00pm on Wednesday February 4, 2015 with Reverend Tony Elam officiating at Clark Legacy Center Versailles Road. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 11:00am until time of service.
