Ann Bryson Moore, age 82, of Charlotte, NC passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. Ann was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Gaufin DeWitt Bryson and Annie Mae Satterfield Bryson. Ann worked as a Payroll Clerk Supervisor at Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was named the Polio Mother of the Year in 1959 by the March of Dimes. She married Albert Ellis Moore on March 7, 1953 and they had three sons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Moore and son Richard (big Rick) Moore. Ann is survived by her sons, Randy Moore Sr. and wife Carla, Shan Moore and wife Terri; grandchildren Ricky Moore, Jr, Randy Moore Jr, Brandon Moore, Joseph Moore, Rusty Stamey, Elizabeth Spickler and great grandchildren Haleigh, Lindsay, Kyley, Elijah, Lailah, Amelia and Clara. Visitation Monday November 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the Service following at 2:00pm at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte NC 28203, Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery 700 W. 6th Street, Charlotte NC.
