Ann "Annie" Marie Poff
November 27th, 1947 - March 22nd, 2015
Ann Marie "Annie" Poff, lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Angels Grace Hospice at the age of 67 years. Annie was born on Nov. 27, 1947 in Waukesha, the daughter of Mark J. and Linda E. (Steir) Schueller. She was a secretary for WE Energies, formerly known as Wisconsin Natural Gas, for over 30 years of employment. She was very active with United Way and received many awards during her time there. Annie also proudly served for the Democratic party in Waukesha County for many years. She loved gardening, flowers, knitting, cooking, sports (Green Bay Packers) and the outdoors. More than anything she was most happy when she spent time with her family. Annie will be deeply missed by her significant partner, Joseph Kunkel; her sons, Jim Poff of Manitowoc and Chris (Kate) Poff of La Crosse, WI; her grandchildren, Jenna, Max and Kaya; her daughter-in-law, Julie Poff of Manitowoc; her brothers, Dave (Nancy) of Kenosha, John of Waukesha and Steve (Eve) of Waukesha and her sister, Karen (David) Richardson of AR; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends, her WE Energy family and neighbors. The visitation for Annie will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 Noon service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Annie are appreciated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200 Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or www.pancan.org) or Angels Grace Hospice (N74 W35908 Servants' Way, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). The family of Annie would like to extend their appreciation for the loving care she received by the staff of the Oncology Dept. at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
