Ann Wagenblast, age 65, passed away on August 25, 2024, in Melbourne, Florida. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, and community member who dedicated her life to her family and the service of others.
Ann is survived by her four children: Kelly (Dillan), Teddy (Katarina), Danny (Colleen), and Scotty, as well as her cherished grandson, Jackson. Her children and grandson were the center of her world, and she loved spending time with Jackson, who was her pride and joy. Ann's love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she was known for her warm, caring nature and unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Throughout her life, Ann was deeply involved in her community. She was a devoted volunteer at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School and served on the school board for many years. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and her contributions to the school and church community will be fondly remembered.
Ann also had a fulfilling career as an assistant bakery manager at Publix, where she worked for many years before retiring in 2018. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated, hardworking, and friendly presence, always willing to lend a helping hand.
Ann's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
A service will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903, on September 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
