Ann Mary Weiland
July 9th, 1946 - December 21st, 2009
Ann Mary Weiland, 63, of Greeley, CO died December 21, 2009 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. She was born July 9, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to Edward M. and Verne Rose (De Long) Clifford. Ann graduated from Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1964. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English in 1968 and a Master’s Degree in Library Science in 1976 from Ball State University. In 1968 she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Weiland and born unto this marriage were two children, Christine and Stephanie. In 1979 she began working with the Bellefontaine City Schools in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She successfully created 5 Library Learning Centers for this district. She retired from Rocky Mountain Elementary School in Westminster, CO in 2008. She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Greeley; daughters, Christine Dockweiler and husband Thomas, of Overland Park, KS, Stephanie Weiland, of Dayton, OH; granddaughter, Erin Dockweiler, of Overland Park; sisters, Bridgid Clifford, SCN, of Bardstown, KY, Ellen Clifford, of Nazareth, KY, twin Mary Karalexis and husband George, of Weymouth, MA, and Jane Klenotic and husband Andrew, of Copley, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Timothy Clifford. A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held on December 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., Charlie and Ann’s 41st Wedding Anniversary, at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. A special thanks to Jack and Joletta Effinger of Windsor for your support in our difficult time. Memorial contributions may be made to the "Weld County Library District” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley.
