Anna E. Albert
May 11th, 1940 - October 31st, 2022
Anna E. Albert (Eith), 82, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away suddenly, surrounded by family on Monday, October 31, 2022. Legacy Born in Camden, New Jersey, Anna was a longtime resident of West Deptford and parishioner of Holy Angels Parish (previously St. Matthews). Prior to retiring, Anna was a transportation aid, working with children of special needs, at Gateway Regional School District for 25 years. She was also a breast cancer survivor of over 29 years. A member of Love Apple Quilt Guild where she handcrafted many heirloom quilts for her family and “quilt-worthy” friends. Anna enjoyed car rides, watching airplanes down at the monument, weekend trips to Lancaster County, and nightly ice cream soirées with her loving husband, Sam. Her Family always thought it was funny that all Anna's doctor appointments were scheduled conveniently around lunch, so they could have the “excuse” to stop at her favorite lunch spot....McDonald's. Anna kept a stash of sweets in the bottom drawer of her nightstand where she would hide her second favorite delight, Jelly Belly jellybeans, which were carefully curated to fit every holiday, birthday, and event. She specifically saved the licorice ones for Sam, his favorite. Family Beloved wife of 62 years to Samuel J. Albert; mother of Kathryn A. Albert (Michael M. Royal) and Joseph M. Albert (Christopher J. Doyle) ; grandmother of Zachary M. Royal and Madison P. Royal; sister of Carl Eith (Marion), Aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Anna's name to the Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey, 550 Mickle Boulevard, Camden, NJ 08103 or www.rmhsnj.org

McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury
We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family....
