GIBSON, Anna Marie 85, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 of congestive heart failure at Carondelet St. Joseph's hospital, Tucson, AZ. She was born April 22, 1931, the eighth of eleven children to Andrew and Mary Naples of Naples Farm, Bear Rock Rd., Durham, CT. Beloved wife of LCDR Donald C. Gibson, USN (Ret.), they married in 1950 and enjoyed God's precious gift of love for 66 years. She is survived by two younger sisters, Antoinette White, Balwin, MO and Phyllis Naples-Valenti, Durham, CT.; son, Lawrence (grandchildren, Donald and Jessica) lives in Frederick, MD; daughter, Rebecca Overholt died in 1991, leaving three grandchildren, James (great-grandchildren, Vera and Jossel); Patrick (great-grandchild, Gavin) and Daniel (great-granddaughter, Eden) all of Tucson, AZ. A Memorial Service for her many local friends is planned. A private Funeral Service will take place at Naples Farm, Durham, CT at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Anna's name to the Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children, or any similar cause desired. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
