Anna Mae Marsala, age 88, of Chico, Calif. passed away at the Courtyard at Little Chico Creek on October 4, 2010. Anna was born April 28, 1922 in Kenmore, New York, to Joseph and Bunny Valentine. She was one of five children. In 1958 she married Anthony {Tony} Marsala. who preceded her in death in 2007. Survivors include one sister Irene Gerwitz of Kenmore, New York and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her very close friends Pat and Dianna Gordon, their children Wendy, Patrick, and Katie. Special thanks to the staff at the Courtyard and Enloe Hospice for making the last chapter of Anna's life a wonderful experience. We will always remember and cherish the times we had together with her. A service will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Enloe Hospice
