Anna "Pat" Marie Millane
July 18th, 1921 - February 2nd, 2014
Anna "Pat" Marie Millane (nee Patin) of Hartland, passed away February 2, 2014 at the age of 92. She was born on July 18, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Paul and Thecla (nee Parchem) Patin. While raising her children, Anna returned to college to pursue her nursing degree at the age of 50. She worked in drug/alcohol rehabilitation regretting that she only had 7 years to give her profession before retiring to travel across more than 30 states with her husband. She was a spectacular example of servant leadership. Anna loved gardening, baking and playing the piano. Anna deeply missed her husband, James "Jim" who died on December 13th. Jim and Anna married on April 11, 1942, then shared eleven children, Patricia Harrett of WA, James (Monica) Millane of Dousman, WI, Ellen (Patrick) O'Brien of Delafield, WI, Mary (Charlie) Knoebel of GA, Anne Millane of Mayville, WI, Janice (Ed) Wasmer of CA, Thomas (Laurie) Millane of Viroqua, WI, Robert Millane of Ixonia, WI, Joan (Julian) Herrera of Pewaukee, WI and Paul (Leslie) Millane of Ixonia, WI; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Patin of Hartland, WI; son-in-law Bill Schaak of Dousman, WI; sister- in- law, Catherine Millane of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Elda Millane of Milwaukee, as well as many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Brother Augustus (Bernard) Patin and Eugene Patin; sister-in-law, Kathleen Patin; and daughter, Peggy Schaak. The visitation for Anna will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February, 11, 2014, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave.(Hwy SS), Pewaukee, WI 53072. The Rev. Dennis Klemme will be officiating. Burial will be private at Southern WI Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. In lieu of flowers, masses in Anna's name are appreciated.
