Annabel M. Hedin (Barrows) age 95 of Mahtomedi, MN passed away peacefully on February 5, 2017 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and David Barrows; loving husband of 71 years, Roland; siblings, Richard Barrows, Etta-Muriel Ratte, Sibyl Johnson; sister-in-law, Beverly Marshall. Survived by children, Roger (Judy), Dave (Barb), Doug (Margee), Nancy (Steve Majewski), Janet Plombon (Mark), Jill Hawthorne (Greg), and Joan Nordgren (Neil Gabrielson), 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jud Marshall (Joyce); also many nieces and nephews. Annabel had a true love of family and made an impression on everyone she met. She loved watching all sports, especially her Vikings and Twins, and was the biggest fan to all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in all of their sporting endeavors. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 17th in the Great Hall at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service (11 a.m.- 12 p.m.) Lunch immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Golden Living Center-Greeley or Lakeview Homecare and Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Annabel.
