Lexington, KY Anne Moeller Anderson was born to Frederick E. and Edna Elsasser Moeller on December 1, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH. She was a graduate of Circleville High School, after which she went to work for the Ralston Purina Company. In 1952 she moved to St. Louis, MO, for new opportunities with Ralston; these opportunities turned into a 40+ year career from which she retired as their credit union manager. She lived in St. Louis until moving to Lexington, KY in August 2014. Although she claimed to have been shy in her youth, Anne lived her life out loud for most of her nearly 88 years. She loved travel, jazz music, good red wine, the theatre, being the life of the party, and making friends wherever she went. She had a generous spirit and graciously shared her time, her money, and her heart. She volunteered many hours with the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Zonta International, and the College Club of St. Louis to improve the lives of others. She sang in the choir for many years at First Congregational Church (St. Louis) and most recently at Arlington Christian Church (Lexington). In her own words from 2010, here's what Anne had to say about the end of life: I want this to be a happy time, a celebration, a party. I've lived a long life, an interesting life, at times an exciting life. I traveled to many places on the Earth and have enjoyed every minute of it. Family are close in my heart and so much loved. I shall miss all of you and my wonderful friends. I have no qualms or fears about dying...I'm going to a better place, and I'll see all of you later. So let's celebrate a Life! Funeral Information Celebrations of Life will be held on Monday, October 19th, 5-7pm at Merrick Place Clubhouse, Lexington, KY and Sunday, November 15th, 4-6pm at First Congregational Church, St. Louis, MO.
