Anne Greene

Anne Margaret (Waites) Greene, 71, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Thursday June 4, with her son by her side from complications stemming from a stroke. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Moyer and was formally the spouse of Robert J. Greene Jr. of Green Cove Springs, FL. Born April 12 in Philadelphia, PA, Anne Margaret was the third child of the late Michael Waites and Anne (Joyce) Waites. She was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA and went on to a successful career as a Trust Investments Officer for many years. An avid reader, Anne Margaret also enjoyed the company of her friends and family. After moving to South Carolina Anne Margaret was able to spend quality time with her beloved grandchildren Madison and Robert Greene. She was also the proud Grandmother to Brendan Farst of Bernville, PA. Anne Margaret is survived by her daughter Natalie Farst, of Bernville, PA and her son Robert J. Greene III and his wife Elizabeth, of Summerville, SC. Anne Margaret is also survived by her sisters, Kathleen Waites, Rosemary Waites, wife of Joe Hardy; & Maureen, wife of Bill Taylor, brothers Thomas Waites and Gerard Waites and his wife Joan, along with several nieces and a nephew. She is pre-deceased by her oldest brother Michael. The family of Anne Margaret would like to extend and special and heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at the Village of Summerville in Summerville, SC. The care and love you offered our Mother, Grandmother and Sister during the time she was with you we will be forever grateful for.
