Anne M. Guth of Springfield died Dec. 12 of age-related causes. She was 83. A celebration of life is planned for later.She was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Marcola to Charles and Ida Pierce Wetzell. She married George Guth on Aug. 13, 1966, in Reno, Nev.She worked in food services in the shipyards in Portland, at the Eugene Country Club and other locations.Survivors include her husband; five sons, Ron Stoner of Portland, Gary DeAngelis of Springfield, Vernon Guth of Creswell, David Guth of Indianapolis and Richard Guth of Junction City; four daughters, Victoria Hanna of Florence, Betty Milne and Jackie Humes, both of Springfield, and Marlena Howard of Phoenix, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A son, John Odom, died Aug. 7, 2005.Inurnment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
