Annessa May Sanchez

Annessa May Sanchez, 15, of Greeley, CO was called home, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from her home in Greeley. She was born October 11, 1994 in Greeley to Ernest Sanchez and Velvet Perea. She grew up in Greeley where she discovered a passion for music. Annessa spent much of her time reading lyrics, studying and listening to music, writing songs/poetry and reading books. Annessa said she wanted to major in music and attend The Juilliard School of Arts someday. She was known by all who were close to her, for her love of Quotes. She was an excellent student and always had good grades in school. She was considered to be very talented and artistic. Nessa enjoyed learning how to bake with her Grandma Black. She was especially good at baking brownies for all of her family to enjoy. Nessa was a very caring, flamboyant, charismatic and compassionate person with a big heart. She was liked by all who knew her and always cared for them. She loved her family and friends very much and would give her all to make them happy. Anyone who knew Ness knew that her nurturing ways and whole heartedness was instilled in her by her mommah and best friend, Velvet. She was excited that she had earned her learners permit and was excited about driving. She had made plans to take a trip to Cheyenne with her father and was looking forward to driving up there herself. Ness enjoyed fast rides, Corvettes and was particularly fond of the Volkswagen vans. Nessa is survived by her parents, Ernest Sanchez and Velvet Trujillo; Step Father Carlos Trujillo; brother, Ethan Trujillo; sisters, Charly Trujillo, Alexis Sanchez, Jordyn and Jenea Padilla; Grandparents, Guadalupe and Maria Sanchez, Charlie and Diana Black; Eloy Perea Jr.; Henry and Lydia Trujillo; Great Grandparents, Eloy Perea, Carmel Gonzales and Beatrice Sanchez. She is also survived by numerous aunts; uncles; cousins; and her dog, Tibby. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 915 12th Street, Greeley. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Church. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, monetary contributions be made to the "Annessa Sanchez Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave. Greeley, CO 80634.
