Annjanette Laster

Annjanette Laster was born on July 22, 1959 to Elmo Peete, Sr and Bessie Peete in Washington, DC. Ann dedicated most of her life as a government employee for many years until she moved to Las Vegas in 2006 where not to long after moving, started her career in hotel concierge/housekeeping services. She was a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, and grandmother of a very large family. On October 10, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada, our heavenly Father reclaimed an angel he bestowed upon us here on Earth. Annjanette Laster took God’s hand at the age of 61 years, after only five months of battling with stage four Pancreatic Cancer. Annjanette is Preceded in death by her parents, and her nephew Kenny Peete . Left to cherish Annjanette’s precious memories are her children Anthony Peete (Nicole Peete), Nikita Peete, David Peete and his significant other Janeesha Gordon; her sister, Althea Trantham; her brothers, Elmo Peete, Jr., Daniel J. Peete, James, W. Peete ( Renee Peete), and Michael A Peete; her nephew, Keith W. Peete; her grandchildren; Michel Peete, Maya Peete, Derrick Leftridge, Jr., Destini Leftridge, Nikhiyah Medina, Nakia “MuMu” Peete, Nicholas Peete, Nakira Peete, Elainah Peete, Aliyah Peete, and a host of relatives and friends.
