Marino, Anthony Joseph, ?Tony?, 84, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, December 1st, 2007 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He came here in 1998 from his native Lawrence, MA where he was a building contractor for more than 30 years. He then worked for Raytheon for 20 years as a supervisor of document control. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg and a 70 year member of the Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA. He served in the Coast Guard in WW II. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Josephine; 3 sons and their wives, Charles & Mary Marino of Smithtown, NY, Philip & Dianne Marino of Hampton, NH, and Anthony, Jr. & Carol Marino of Orlando; 2 sisters, Phyllis Jackston of St. Petersburg and Jean DiGloria of Methuen, MA; 5 grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Jana, Michael & Kristy; 3 great grandchildren, Amanda, Hannah, & Joseph; and numerous cousins, family members, and friends. Visitation will be 3:00 ? 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Center-Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Ave. No. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 4000 43rd St. No. Entombment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family requests that Memorial donations be sent to The American Cancer Society @ cancer.org, The Leukemia Society @ leukemia.org or the American Heart Association.
