Anthony Felipe Medina

On Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Anthony Felipe Medina passed away at the age of 31. Anthony was born on April 1, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Andrew and Tammy (Stanford) Medina. Anthony never married or had a family of his own, but he loved being an uncle to his three nephews, Steven, Joe, and Gabriel. Anthony had a passion for fishing. He loved to compete with his dad and brother on who caught the most fish and he usually won. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved classic rock and New Mexico Spanish music. He had a caring soul and could make anyone laugh. Anthony loved the Dallas Cowboys; he was a passionate Cowboys fan. Anthony was the type of friend everyone wishes they could have. He stayed close to his friends from elementary school and would do anything for them. He always thought of them as a family. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfather Felipe Medina; his grandfather Tom McCarty; and his sister Melissa Medina. He is survived by his parents; his sister, Samantha Medina and her significant other Nicolas Romero; his brother Jonathan Medina and his significant other Sam Phillips; his nephews, Joe, Steven, and Gabriel; his maternal grandmother Delores Martin; his maternal grandfather Leland Stanford; his paternal grandmother Linda McCarty; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a viewing at 4:30 and rosary at 5:00 on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Riverside Funeral Home in Los Lunas, NM. On Wednesday, December 27,2023, a viewing will be held from 11:00-12:00 at Saint Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM followed by mass at 12:00.
