Anthony "Tony" Layne Cox

Anthony “Tony” Layne Cox, 64, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023. He was born on November 7, 1958 in Owensboro, KY to the late Mary Seaton and Walter Cox. Tony worked for many years at Pilkington North America located in Versailles, KY. Tony was an avid sports fan. He loved his UK Wildcats and the San Fransisco 49ers. He also enjoyed Keeneland and the ponies. Those left to cherish Tony’s memory include his sisters, Darlene (Bonnie Mink) Cox, Karen Cox, Lisa Cox (Mark) Lowery, Susie (Gary Ray) Cox, and Christine (Paul Biggs) Cox; brother, Jack (Pam) Cox; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 2-4PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
