Friday, February 24, 2012 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Lacey Funeral Home Anthony W. Valente Anthony, 67, of Olympia, Washington, passed away at Providence St. Peter Hospital on February 20, 2012. He was born September 13, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts to Anthony S. and Helen A. Valente. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army in 1961 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Following his retirement in October of 1981, he continued to work for the military in civil service. On February 15, 1994, Anthony married Eun Joo “Julie” in Seoul, South Korea. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, reading and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Julie; mother, Helen A. Brown; children, Tony (Michelle), Michael, David (Cydnee), and Carol; brothers, David (Deborah) and Michael (Judy); sisters, Leslie Conley (Daniel) and Mary Wheelock; and four grandchildren, Tony S., Eric, Carson and Jace. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony S. Valente; and his sister, Nancy Mathews. Please sign the guestbook below and leave your condolences.
