Obituary Antoinette (Toni) Olivia (Debano) Wright was born on March 3, 1919 and raised in Hinton Oklahoma along with her sisters Roberta and Anna Marie as the only children of Adolph and Mary Debano who farmed and raised chickens. She graduated from Hinton High School and attended nursing school. She later met and married Harold Bell Wright in February 10, 1942, who was then serving in the Army Air Corps in Oklahoma City. Following his overseas war tour in Europe they reunited again and returned to Oklahoma City where he continued to serve in the military. In April 1947 they had their first child Harold Douglas Wright and traveled to McChord AFB, Washington for duty. In May 1949 they had their second child William Edward Wright and shortly thereafter transferred to Alaska for duty. Subsequently they transferred to Hamilton AFB, California for duty and in July 1951 they had their third child Gregory John Wright and in November 1952 they had their fourth child Rickey Joseph Wright. In 1953 they transferred to Peterson Field Colorado Springs, Colorado for duty. In June 1954 they had their fifth child Debra Ann Wright. Shortly thereafter they transferred to France for duty and returned to Hamilton AFB, California for duty. In December 1959 they returned to Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs for duty and to the home they built there in the early 1950s. It was at this time she went to work outside the home at an appliance store and then for Farmers Insurance Group where she eventually retired. In addition to raising five children, gardening, crocheting and cooking she enjoyed traveling. She always had a smile on her face and had a great sense of humor. She was a member of the Catholic Church which helped her endure the pain of losing her husband in April 2006. Eventually she suffered several fractures during her 'golden years' (leg and pelvis) which limited her mobility and prevented her from driving. However, she always enjoyed going for car rides with her children when they visited her. Unfortunately eventually she suffered several strokes and was bedridden during the last years of her life but always had a grin and smile for everyone she encountered . She favored pecan ice cream and preferred dessert as the highlight of her meals. She was always positive and would often say when asked by her son how she was doing that 'I am just laying here watching TV.' She was very fortunate in the twilight of her 97 year life to have the loving support of live in care by her son Gregory ,his wife Judith and their grown daughter Frenzle who provided excellent round the clock care for her. All family members agree she had a great ride during her life. She will always be remembered by one son who said whenever I said I love you mom she would always say with a smile 'I love you too son.' She passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 10, 2016. She is survived by five grown children (Harold D Wright - Colorado Springs, CO; William E. and Sandy Wright - Windermere, FL; Gregory J Wright - Colorado Springs, CO; Rickey J Wright - Colorado Springs, CO; and Debra A Wright - Centennial, CO) , eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who miss her dearly. She is also survived by two nieces Patsy Wright of Ohio and Karen George Tindel of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her sisters, her husband, her brother-in-law and his wife as well as other cousins. Her life will be celebrated with a Rosary officiated by Father Mark Zacker at 7:00 pm Friday April 15, 2016 at the Cappadona Funeral Home as well as a Mass to be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 11:00 am Saturday April 16, 2016.
