Mrs. Antonia Adorno, 91, of Crane Street, Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Puerto Rico on January 2, 1923 she grew up there. In 1963 she relocated to Amsterdam, NY where she worked as a seamstress for many years until her retirement. Antonia loved her family dearly, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her five children, Israel Seise, Julia Gonzalez, Linda Flores, Miriam Cobian- DeLeo and Jose Cobian; ten grandchildren, Myra Seise, Yessenna Seise, Marisol Cobian, William Andujar, Julissa Gonzalez, Wilfredo Romero, Kristina Rupey, Jaime Flores, Alyssa Flores and Eric Cobian; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter Margarita Rupey and her husband, Alejandro Vazquez. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1 o'clock at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service beginning at 11 o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
