My Life Story Ardyce L. Quenzer, 81, of Meridian passed away January 29, 2019 at Country Time Assisted Living in Star, Idaho. Ardyce was born in Alliance, Nebraska on March 22, 1937 to Guy and Oletha Winegar. Ardyce was the youngest of three children. When she was at a very young age, the family moved to Emmett, Idaho. After Ardyce graduated from Emmett High School, she attended business college. She worked as a secretary for a lumber yard and for State Farm Insurance as a secretary prior to getting married. She married the love of her life, Eugene Quenzer, on June 2, 1962. They purchased a dairy farm on Black Cat Road in Meridian. They were blessed with three boys: Dean, Ronald and Marvin. Ardyce was not only an excellent homemaker, she also was involved with the daily activities of the farm. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandsons on the farm. She also enjoyed her coupon club and being a member of the Black Cat Extension Club. She is survived by her three sons: Dean (Debbie), Ron (Judy) and Marvin, as well as six grandsons and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Eugene. We would like to give special thanks to all of the staff at Country Time Assisted Living, and also to First Choice Hospice. Their love, care and support for our Mom was unlimited. Thank you again! A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 5th at Accent Funeral Home, 1303 N. Main Street in Meridian from 5-7 P.M. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 6th at 1:00 P.M. at Ten Mile Christian Church, 3500 W. Franklin Road, Meridian. A graveside service will follow at Star Cemetery. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com. *Please see "Service Information" tab for service details. *

We Entrusted Ardyce Quenzer's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
