Arlene M. Fikentscher, (née Schofield) age 81, of Glassboro, formerly of Collingswood, NJ peacefully passed away on April 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. Legacy Arlene was a strong but quiet woman who enjoyed the comforts of home and graciously welcomed everyone to her table. She loved to prepare delicious meals for her family, tend to her beautiful garden, artistically decorate her home, and, enjoyed reading books and a good cup of coffee. Arlene dedicated her love and life to her family, especially her daughters, grandchildren, pets, best friend/sister, Janice, and of course the love of her life, Jack. Family Beloved wife of 49 years to Jack; Devoted mother of Jennifer and Bill Giordano, Lorraine and Bryan Brown, and Joanna and Michael Dersch; Cherished grandmother of Sam, Michael, Emily, Lauren, Victoria, Amanda, Timmy, Jenna, and Leah; Adored daughter of the late Jean F. (née Barra) and George H. Schofield; Dear sister to Janice and Larry Bunn, George and Linda Schofield, ‘Bob’ and Sharon Schofield, ‘Rick’ and Darlene Schofield, and the late ‘Jerry’ Schofield; Cherished aunt, cousin, and friend to many; Treasured friend to Sarah and the late Frank Avato. Farewell Ceremony Visitation Sunday, April 29th, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at Collingswood Presbyterian Church, 30 Fern Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108; Funeral Service 3:00 PM; Interment private.
