Armen Sahac Jacobs

Armen Sahac Jacobs, 98, passed away April 10th joining his beloved wife, Sirarpi, who predecesed him in 2008. He was born November 11, 1923 in New Britain, CT to rose (Bagdasarian) and Sahac Jacobs. Armen was a kind, funny and loving man who never met a person who didn't like him. He was always jojing and making people laugh, and was always trying to feed you. Dad loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Almost daily, he talked about howmuch he loved and missed his wife. Armen also had a passion for electronics. He was a radio and TV repairman, always talking about how much he missed his job. Dad also enjoyed sports...especially the Red Sox. He also loved his "granddog" Murray. Armen was preceded in death by his wife, Sirarpi Emirzian Jacobs, after 56 years of marriage. He is survived by his children: Sandra Jacobs (Leon) of Plainville, CT; Greg Jacobs (Deb) of Venice, FL; Melanie Roberts (Scott) of Rotonda West, FL and Mark Jacobs of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchild Kyle Gabree (Taylor) and great grandkids: Jacoby Armen and Klair Sirarpi. Also his beloved sister Lila Winters (Andy) of Plainville, CT; sister-in-law Arpi Emirzian of Essex, CT along with several nieces and nephews. A private celebration of life will be held by his family at a later date.
