Obituary Arnold W. Burton was born in 1929 in Wellfleet, NE to Vernon & Sylva Burton. After growing up on the farm in NE, he moved to Colorado Springs with his family because of his fathers asthma. He is survived by his three younger siblings; brother Robert (Bonnie), two sisters Inez Fickel & Vera Grace (Don) Moore. In addition, his three children; Douglas Burton, Stacey Moore & Natalie (Pete) Ballweber, also 4 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. After graduating high school in Colorado Springs, he became a real estate broker in the 1960s. He operated Burton Realty which he continued until his retirement. Arnold joined the Pikes Peak Range Riders in 1973. Highlights include 35 annual rides & performing for many years w/ the Pivots drill team. He served in most of the groups positions over the years including Ride Director 1978. His favorite job was trails committee where he explored & laid out trails for the annual ride. He lived over 40 yrs in Black Forest where he built his home & enjoyed hosting family. He also enjoyed his horses & monitoring the deer that frequent his acreage. Celebration of Life Memorial: April 13, 2023 --his birth day- @ Latigo Trails Equestrian Center, time TBA. Affiliations: Pikes Peak Range Riders, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Soil & Water Conservation Society.
