Arnold "Ricky" Richard Geary, Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold Richard (Ricky) Geary Jr. announces his sudden passing on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the age of 62. He is survived by his son Ed, his daughter Heather (Wayne) and his nephew Rastus (Elise). He was G-Pa to Tyler, McKenna and London. Ricky, affectionately known as “Tricky Ricky” by his many friends was born in Charleston, SC on April 23, 1956, to Arnold and Frances (Tedder) Geary. One of four children, he is survived by his sister Judy (Tommy) Emberson and brother Tony (Renita) Geary. He is preceded in death by his brother Leonard “Butchy” Geary. A native of Goose Creek, Ricky graduated from Goose Creek High School. A welder and shipfitter by trade he worked for General Dynamics and Detyens Shipyard. He had a love of Harley Davidson motorcycles and everyone he met was his little brother or little sister. Friends and family are invited to celebrate a life well-lived on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456 from 2:00-3:00 PM.
