Arnold H Goldfoot

May 22nd, 1940 - August 2nd, 2024

Goldfoot, Arnold H., of Gulfport, went to be with his loving heavenly Father, August 2, 2024. Arnold was born and raised in upstate New York. He graduated from Lintonaire High School. He worked many years at Spector Trucking Company as Office Manager. He graduated from college with a degree in finance. In 1979 he moved to Gulfport Florida and became a Process Servier with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. He also was a Real Estate Agent until he retired in 2000. Arnold and his wife Laura Goldfoot were members of First Baptist Church of St Petersburg.

 

Arnold was a Life-Time member of The Florida Automobile Association of America, where he served two terms as President. His hobby was antique cars and memorabilia. He cherished his cars and Texaco Collection.

 

Arnold suffered over 20 years with heart disease, type 1 diabetes, and dementia. He resided at Regal Palms Assisted Living, in Largo Florida.

 

Arnold is survived by his wife, Laura E., Gulfport; Donald Alen “Melinda” Bates (Stepson); Randell Bayless (Son in law); Grandchildren - Jonathen Bates; Emily Bates; & Brandon Bayless.

 

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Harold & Ola Goldfoot; Linda K. Bayless & Ruth E. Duncan (Stepdaughters)

 

The Family thanks the staff at Regal Palms for the love and care he received while there. A “Special” Thank You to the Memory Care Unit and all of the Medical Personnel who watched over him. 

 

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park, St. Petersburg FL on August 9, 2024 at 1;00 pm, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
