Arthur J. Dusdall

Art Dusdall passed away in Portland, Oregon, on December 28, 2021, at the age of 97. He was born to John and Olga (Fimmel) Dusall on March 22, 1924, in San Francisco, where he resided until serving in the Coast Guard during WWII. Following the war, he worked as an auditor for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, based in San Francisco, necessitating moving around the country every few months. He resided at Willamette View in Portland from 1999 until his passing. Art stayed current with international, national, and local news. He was an excellent conversationalist, with an incredible memory for people and past events, and he was able to easily weave old stories with current events. Art had a deep appreciation of God’s creation and sought to protect and preserve it through his support of many environmental organizations. His memorial will be private.
