Martyn, Arthur Francis, Sr., 93, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Monday August 20, 2007 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Born in Hartford, CT, he came here in 1999 from Orlando. He was a retired U.S. Air Force E9, Chief Master Sgt. with 26 years of service, having served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the DAV. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; five daughters: Ruth Dashosh, Las Vegas, NV; Marianne Becker, Taylors, SC; Lynne Abbott, Huntsville, AL; Cynthia Bergman, Broomfield, CO; and Nadine Johnson, St. Petersburg; three stepchildren: Harry Stewart, Kent Stewart and Frances Haley; 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Hazel Marie, his son Arthur F., Jr. and 2 of his stepchildren; John Stewart and Sandra Ward. Viewing will be Thursday August 23, 2007 from 3PM until service time at 6PM at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. M.L. King St. N. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery Friday, August 24, 2007 at 11:30AM. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-NE St. Petersburg Chapel
