Arthur D. "Art" Moore Of Genesee, died on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at LifeCare Hospital at the age of 67 years. Art was born in Hammond, Indiana on March 10, 1944, a son of Frank and Dorothy Meinzer. On May 21, 1966 Art married the love of his life, Nancy Bachi. He was employed by AT&T for over 30 years until his retirement. Art proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He will be remembered as a straightforward, caring, and compassionate husband, father and friend. Art enjoyed golfing, fishing, poker playing and watching the Packers. His "happy place" was sitting on his back porch with his dog, Flash but mostly he loved spending time with his family. ?? Art will be dearly missed by his wife, Nancy; daughter; Christine (Steve) Morris; sons, Brian (Linda) and Eric Moore; grandchildren, Kayla, Katie and Hunter; brother, Tom (Angela) Meinzer; sister, Dorothy (Butch) Maroc. Art is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved first dog, Sadi. ?? The visitation for Art will be on Sunday, October 30, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated, to be donated to the charity of their choice at a later date. Art ?? 's family, would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of LifeCare Hospital and Waukesha Memorial Hospital ICU Department, for their gentle care of Art during his stay.
