Arthur E. Roach

A funeral service for Arthur E. Roach, 84, of Gaston, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Independent Fellowship of the Living Word, 3595 Hwy. 6, Lexington, SC 29073. Pastor Jack Whitlow will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Roach will be interred in Gibson Cemetery in West Columbia following the service at the church. Arthur Roach passed away February 18, 2023. Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Phillip and Theory Pansy Metcalf Roach. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, being with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Arthur is survived by his children; son, Richard G. Roach of Gaston; daughters, Tammy Frazee of Gaston, Patricia Kohl of Gaston; son, Danny E. Roach of Gaston; six grandsons and one granddaughter; seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his wife, Mary Louise Roach; 4 brothers and his grandson, Ryan Roach. The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice and the staff of Ridgeway Manor for their professional care of Arthur.
