Ashley Anne Gilmer

Ashley Anne Gilmer was born Tuesday, November 26, 1985, in Chico, California, to the proud parents of Stephen M. Gilmer and Paula J. Luther at Enloe Hospital. She had many health issues and passed away from complications from Type I Diabetes Thursday, August 20, 2020, at the age of 34. She is survived by her three beautiful children: Tessa (14), Nolan (10) and Sophia (7) Miller. Her Mother and Father, Brother Bradley Gilmer (San Francisco, California), Sister Amber Laney (Lincoln, California), Grandmother Janice Gilmer and Aunt Debora Gilmer, Aunts Vicki Sanseverino, Carla Whitburn, Uncle Keith Whitburn, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her significant other Jason Boone & his daughter Christina Boone. Ashley was baptized Catholic here in Chico at Our Divine Savior Church. The family is eternally grateful and would like to extend great gratitude and thanks to the many doctors, nurses, dialysis family, supportive family and the many loyal friends who helped care for her along her journey in life. "Over the years there were many of you that she truly came to love. I'm sure you know who you all are." She was a full-time Mom, homemaker, sister, and aunt. Her kids were and are her world and meant everything to her. She loved music, butterflies, horses, the ocean, camping, crafts, cars, tattoos, and being silly with her good friends.
