Ashley Ellen Goetz
March 31st, 1986 - May 14th, 2012
"Ashley Ellen Goetz, age 26, of Amherst, Massachussetts, formerly of Eagan, Minnesota, passed away tragically in a car accident on Monday evening, May fourteenth, 2012. She was an English instructor and creative writing graduate student at University of Massachussets/Amherst. Ashley is a graduate of Eagan High School, and of the University of Minnesota, with double majors in Graphic Design and English Literature. While at the University of Minnesota, she co-edited the Minnesota Daily college magazine. After graduation, she used her diverse skills and creativity as the director of marketing at Quantum Retail in Minneapolis, and to launch AshleyEllen.com; as a place to showcase her writing, photography, graphic design and consulting work. Ashley was an exuberant and thoughtful person who lived every moment of life to its fullest. She will be dearly missed. Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents Thomas and Ruth Goetz; and Orvan and Evelyn Edmonson. She is survived by her parents, Daniel Goetz and Deborah Goetz of Eagan, Minnesota; her siblings Mandy (Chris) Bellm and Justin (Sarah) Goetz; and nephews Ethan and Avery Bellm. Her time with us was too short but she will live forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held in Saturday, June 9th at the Peace Church in Eagan with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., service to begin at 11:00 a.m. and luncheon to follow. "
