Audrey Clara Delance Carter was born February 9, 1938 in Buffalo, New York. She died early Easter morning March 27, 2016. Audrey was an office administrator for Denver Wood Products Co. She loved Colorado, travel, cooking and dogs. Her heart was in the Arts. She was an acclaimed/awarded artist and a member of Wheat Ridge Art League (Carnation Festival Art Show), Lakewood Art Council and Mountainside Art Guild. She enjoyed all things sparkly and was an avid collector of Swarovski crystal. She was a treasured friend to many, admired for her spunk, her frank honesty and deep caring. She will be sincerely missed. She was preceded in death by a husband, Howard E. Carter, a longtime companion, Lanny McIntyre, her parents, Clara Anna and Willard Paul Delance and her brother Paul Delance. She is survived by her niece Debra (Michael) Schiske , a great nephew Justin (Amy) Schiske and great niece Shannon (Justin) Chojnicki.
