Audrey Mae Dozier Downing, 89, of Charlotte, NC passed away on May 06, 2015. She was born in Florence, South Carolina to Andrew and Bannie Dozier. Audrey was a faithful and dedicated Christian and member of Third Presbyterian Church of Charlotte. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Downing, a son and daughter, Richard (Bubba) and Teresa; brothers and sisters: Donnie, Rembert, Ludy, AM, Pierce, Cecil, Dorothy, Mildred, and Cynthia. Audrey is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Dozier. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC. A graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 " 1:00 pm. 5/11/2015 12:00 PM 01:00 PM Visitation J. B.
