Audrey Leon Jamison
May 9th, 1933 - November 19th, 2014
Mr. Audrey Leon Jamison, age 81, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on November 19, 2014. He was born on May 9, 1933 to the late Charles Jamison and Bertha Nance Jamison. He married Sara Holshouser on July 7, 1957. Leon is survived by his wife Sara, and his four children, Jeff Jamison and his wife Diane; Wayne Jamison; Gary Jamison and his wife Carol; and LuAnn Jackson. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Shannon Jamison, Cameron Jackson, Cody Jackson and Morgan Jamison. In addition to his late parents, Leon was recently predeceased by his twin brother Lee Jamison. Leon loved his church, Sharon Presbyterian Church where he was an active member. He was retired from AT&T after 34 years of service. A celebration of Leon's wonderful life will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC 28210, with the Dr. Robert Blumer conducting the celebration. Memorial contributions honoring Leon's life may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215. His family would like to acknowledge and thank the ICU staff at CMC Main for the love and caring they gave to Leon.
