Audrey S. Kopelman, 91, of Seminole, Florida passed away, Saturday, March 30th surrounded by her devoted family. Born in Newark, N.J. She is a graduate of Weequahic High School and New Jersey.State Teachers College. She taught elementary school in East Orange and Camden, New Jersey and at Lakewood Elementary in St. Petersburg. She was a docent at the Salvador Dali Museum, the Florida International Museum and the Holocaust Museum, of which she was a Founding Member. Audrey felt very strongly about her faith and was an active member of Congregation B'Nai Israel. She was the Past President of Sisterhood and Youth Commission Chair. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Harvey. They were married for 54 years. She is survived by her three children Brett Kopelman (Supharat), Dr. Jeff Kopelman ( Michelle) and Laura Flieder ( Jeff) and her six grandchildren, David , Michael, Matthew, Rye, Josh and Andrew and her two great-grandchildren, Willa and Harvey. Family meant everything to her. She exercised regularly, was an avid tennis player, loved to garden and was a voracious reader. Known for her sharp sense of humor, she will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd at Congregation B'Nai Israel, 300 58th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida at 10:00 a.m.
