Audrey D. Reddington
January 28th, 1955 - January 23rd, 2019
Audrey D. Reddington passed away January 23, 2019 in Morton, Washington, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born January 28, 1955, to David and Charlene MacManiman in Baker, Oregon. Audrey had been a resident of Randle, Washington for 16 years, and previously lived in Mineral, Washington. She earned an AA in General Science and BS in Healing Science. She served with the U.S. Army Women's Corps, Company A, 1st Battalion, 4th Platoon in Ft McClellan, Alabama. She also was stationed at Ft. Worth, Texas, The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington. For 27 years, Audrey was a Pediatric Dental Assistant, specializing in working with developmentally disabled children. She also spent many years as Lieutenant EMT with Mineral Fire Department and was head of EMS training. She was President of the Midway Gaveliers public speaking club, and member of Sacred Spiral Sanctuary. Audrey had a second degree black belt in Taekwondo, and opened her own dojo. In addition, she created a business called Tranquil Dragon through which offered tinctures, lotions, potions and salves, and created her infamous MarPo cbd creams. She and her closest friend also sewed lap blanket quilts for donation to local long-term care patients to perfectly fit to their wheelchair. She was a lifetime rock hound and had many rocks and crystals, each with a story and purpose. She also was a crafter extraordinaire, including bead looming, pottery, knitting, crocheting, Paracord (bracelets, water bottle handles, zipper pulls, rifle slings). Audrey will be remembered for her distinct laugh, which was contagious. She will forever be missed and always held close in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Coleman; stepdaughter, Christy Smith; grandchildren, Adam and Lexi Loftus and Kortni and Trista Coleman; bonus grandchildren, Jacyn and Kylee Lyons; mother, Charlene MacManiman; brother, David C. MacManiman; and sisters, Angela Porterfield (MacManiman) and Valerie MacManiman. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Reddington; father, David W. MacManiman; and parents-in-law, John and Marjorie Carter
