Aurea Esther Bonilla, 83, of Ocala, Florida passed away February 25, 2023 at Estelle's Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of the late husband Jose Bonilla who preceded her in 2017. She was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, moved to New York and later to Ocala, Florida a daughter of the late Felix and Theresa Acosta. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, Soap Operas and she loved flowers. She loved spending time with her family, specially her grandchildren. Aurea is survived by daughters: Wilma Rios, Wanda Serrano, Waleska Rodriguez, Walenda Bonilla and son William Vega. She has 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com.
