Azalea Icesses Hirschfeld
January 29th, 2010 - May 7th, 2022
Azalea Icesses Hirschfeld passed from this life into eternal life on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Children’s Hospital in Aurora, CO at the age of 12 years old. She was born to Mystique Valdivia and Joseph Hirschfeld on January 29, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents; Maxine Mirabal Valdivia and Mike Valdivia. She is survived by her parents, paternal great-grandparents Vickie and Valente Mireles, paternal grandparents Angel and Alfredo Marentes, maternal grandparents Jenaro Villalobos and Angel Valdivia, siblings (sister) Diamonique Valdivia, (brother) Zion Lovato and numerous extended family members who loved her very much. Azalea was a smiling child, full of wonder and adventure. She was a light in the room that brought a sense of life in the room making you smile with her smile. She was very curious about life and so excited to explore every aspect of it. She was very brave and independent but also very caring and offered her love in the most motherly, beautiful way. She loved to give hugs and if there was a baby around, she made sure to care for, hold and play with that baby. She loved to dance and she had a natural talent and rhythm to do so. She was incredibly unique and stylish and loved to play dress-up whenever she had the chance. She couldn’t wait to grow up and she would make us laugh because she was so serious about being older and didn’t like to be called baby names and she wanted to walk, talk and dress like an adult. She was a loving and giving big sister to Zion and a wonderful and thoughtful little sister to Diamonique. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, May 20th at 10:00 am at Casa del Padre Church, 1208 N. Garfield Ave., Loveland, CO. Burial immediately following at City of Loveland Burial Park. After the burial, family and friends are invited to Loveland Sports Park, 950 North Boyd Lake Avenue, Loveland, CO for food and fellowship. In case of inclement weather, the food and fellowship celebration will be held at Loveland Police and Courts Building in the Police Institute Room the family will specify the day of the service for which location.
