Barbara Barter, 79 of Cocoa, passed away February 16, 2014 at her home after an illness. She is a retired Director of Medical Records. She had a passion for quilting. She belongs to The Rocket Quilters, residents association at Westminster Abby in Cocoa and is a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Merritt Island. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Mills and husband Robert. She has 5 grandchildren Andy Barter Jr., Leah Barter, Tristan Mills, Devin Mills, Avery Mills and 4 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Barter. A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church of Merritt Island, Florida on February 22, 2014 at 4 pm.
