July 16th, 1926 - January 12th, 2016
BOBBYE PLATT CLEMENS BRUCE Our Momma and Nana left us to tend to her gardens on January 12, 2016. Bobbye was born at Enloe Hospital on July 16, 1926 in Chico to Jesse and Clarabel Platt. She attended Notre Dame and Chico High School, graduating in 1944 and in 1946 married Ray Clemens. Bobbye worked at the telephone company in her early years, Continental Nut in the quality control lab for 25 years and Wagner's Stationary. She married Kay Bruce in 1966. Kay passed away in 1984. Bobbye enjoyed gardening, cooking and bicycling. She also enjoyed spending time with her long-time companion, Norm Sanden and their friends at the Elks Lodge. Bobbye is survived by four daughters, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Jody (Christian, Spencer), Chrystie and Carl (Callen, Andrew), Dana (Mollie, Chuck), Mari and Greg (Matthew, Hayley) and four step-children; Linda, Bob, Cathy and Cheryl. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. "Ride on Momma See you down the road"
