Barbara Davidson

January 9th, 2013

Barbara Davidson, 70, of Nampa passed away at home on January 9, 2013. Born on June 15, 1942, she was the second child of Olive and Paul Thomson. Barbara was raised in the NuAcres Community, on a farm between Fruitland, Idaho and Nyssa, Oregon. After 10th grade, the family moved to Caldwell where Barbara graduated from high school. She married John Davidson in 1961 and her three children brought her great joy. Barbara was a wife, mother, homemaker, and helped keep books for her husband’s milk route. Her career included book keeping for John Deere Company, managing the kitchen at Van Buren School, and working quality control for Zilog. For the last fourteen years, Barbara’s primary joys in life were her children and grandchildren. She loved her family! She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her daughter-in-law. She is survived by her children: Doug Davidson, Carla Fuller, and Johanna Harness and their families. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Boone Memorial Church in Caldwell on Monday January 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM. A private internment will be held at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
